It is common for companies to share WhatsApp QR codes so that customers can get in touch quickly with the messenger. To scan a company’s WhatsApp QR code, tap the three vertical dots on the home screen and go to Settings. Then a QR Code icon appears next to your profile name.

Press and then select the “Scan code” option. To scan, place your phone on the QR code, and press ‘Start Chat’ to open the chat. This feature facilitates contact between customers and stores, as it doesn’t require the contact to be included in the mobile phone calendar to send messages.
