The Ministry of Health has updated the list of consultations that the Common Health System (SUS) considers a priority. The list published this Friday (10) in the Official Journal includes 54 types of surgical procedures, from varicose vein treatment to basectomy.

For the SUS proceedings, the government released R $ 336,806,128.20.
According to the publication, the options for these procedures take into account the “high demand attached” and the important queues. Thus, the Ministry intends to repair the bottles in the public service.
The procedure will be funded by the Strategic Action and Compensation Fund (FAEC) for six months until it reaches the financial limits of Medium and High Complexity (MAC) of the states, the Federal District and the municipalities.
Some procedures were also removed from the list of priorities, which led to changes in the forecast of hospital service values.
Last Wednesday (8) the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ) released health plans to cover proceedings outside the role of the National Health Agency (ANS). The second group passed the decision, and six ministers voted in favor of the so-called detailed list. Only three opposed it, saying the list is exemplary.
The ANS Health Procedure and Event List contains more than 3,000 items, including “operations that cannot be denied by health care providers.”
