So far, 2022 has been a very nice year and already has some great premieres, such as Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7 and many more. But, they say that those who live in the past are a museum – not that the 2022 games are old … it’s just a force for expression – so the players are already looking forward to what comes next.

God of War: Ragnaro (date not confirmed)
One of the most anticipated games of the year for PlayStation fans, God of War Ragnarok promises to continue its unforgettable 2018 game adventure. Wild actions and conspiracies against the Odin family.
The Last of Us Part I (September 2)
The Last of Us Part I will be a full version of the original game and will feature next-generation visuals, now adapted for PS5 hardware. Joel and Ellie’s epic journey will feature improvements in control and accessibility, as well as improvements in exploration and combat, including a revamped Left Behind DLC with Naughty Dog’s new graphics engine.
Hogwarts Legacy (date not confirmed)
Hogwarts Legacy will turn players into students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchcraft. On an activity-packed map, students will explore the landmarks of the castle, learn about potion, transformation, herbs, and more, and face magical creatures that threaten the stability of the enchanted universe. The title is one of the most anticipated games of the year for fans of games and the Harry Potter franchise.
Forspoken (October 11)
Forspoken Square is an action-packed RPG based on parallel realities. In the title, the players take on the role of Faye, the role of a young American girl who is mysteriously taken to a fantasy realm. Equipped with special powers and abilities, the girl must find her way home, taking care of the creatures of the dead who have infested the land of Athia.
New Need for Speed (date not confirmed)
Developed by Codemasters and Criterion, but still without a release date, the new Need for Speed could be exclusive to the new generation and would require many improvements in the franchise, appearing as one of the most anticipated games in the saga. So far, weather variations and a Chicago-inspired map have been unveiled, highlighting the presence of a huge region to explore.
Callisto Protocol (December 2)
Developed by the creator of Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol is a science fiction horror experience set on the moon of Jupiter. Black Iron after being locked up in the highest security prison, Jacob Lee will learn the tremendous secrets of the United Jupiter Company and use his instincts for survival to fight, avoid, or adapt to the dangers of the shadows.
Gotham Knights (October 25)
With Batman dead, a group of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin are responsible for protecting Gotham and restoring the little hope left to the people. To do this, the hero team of Gotham Knights must unravel the mysteries, defeat the classic villains and take part in epic battles, all with improved team dynamics and a dedicated RPG system.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (October 28)
Explosions, intensity and lots of action await fans in Modern Warfare II. Task Force 141 is back in one of the most anticipated games of 2022 for a revitalized mission and new engagement dynamic, including scuba diving mechanics, shielding, improved artificial intelligence and unprecedented moments for the main campaign.
A Plague Tale: Requiem (date not confirmed)
A live sequel to the events of Innocence, A Plague Tale: Requiem follows the journey south of Amicia and Hugo. Deciding to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse, the brothers find themselves in a new nightmare when these destructive powers awaken. Now they must set out on a mysterious island that is supposed to be the key to salvation.
Sonic Frontiers (date not confirmed)
Isolated on a mysterious island, Sonic must run to solve puzzles and save his friends. In Sonic Frontiers, the formula for the charismatic adventure franchise will be revisited in an “open zone” format, where players must explore maps, unlock skills, defeat giant leaders, and find their target in a contemplative, lonely region.
