When we left the track, the choice of tires was quite varied. Most riders opted for medium fronts, but four KTM bikes opted for the hardest. In the back, the majority also went with the middle ones, with Jack Miller, Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, Stefan Bradl, Pol Espargaró, Brad Binder, two tough Suzuki and Franco Morbidelli. Maverick Viñales was the only one who risked the soft.
Before the start, however, Brad Binder, Álex Rins and Joan Mir were pushed hard and moved to the middle back.
