Motorola launches Edge 30 and Moto G82 5G in Brazil with pOLED display and more

On Tuesday night (7), Motorola launched two more new mobile phones for the Brazilian market. The Edge 30 arrives as the world’s thinnest 5G phone, while the Moto G82 5G has plenty of features to make it more premium.

Both have some common features, such as screen material and sound system. TudoCelular followed the details of each and tells you below.

Motorola Edge 30

The Motorola Edge 30 is the most advanced of the duo. It is classified as the world’s thinnest 5G phone, measuring only 6.79 mm thick and weighing 155 grams.

In its design, the camera still has a vertical block with a background of the same color as the skin. There is a hole in the screen that looks like a hole in the screen. The biometric reader is also on the front, below the screen. This device also offers NFC for contactless payments.

Screen, hardware and software

This model has a 6.5-inch pOLED panel with Full HD + resolution. It is capable of reproducing 1 billion colors and supports HDR10 +. It also has a refresh rate of 144 Hz to increase system fluidity and compatible gaming. In terms of sound, there are two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.

Key technical specifications include the presence of Snapdragon 778 Plus 5G mobile platforms, backed by fifth-generation mobile networking and technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E. The memory has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The battery has 4,020 mAh, powered by a 30W TurboPower charger.

The Edge 30 comes with an original Android 12, under Motorola’s My UX interface. The software stands out for offering little change compared to pure Android and still has Ready For, a feature that turns your mobile phone into a laptop.


The set of photos consists of three rear cameras, aimed at the main 50 MP. It has optical image stabilization that allows you to blur videos up to 4K, in addition to 8 times the digital zoom.

The trio consists of 50 MP ultra-wide sensors that can also be used in macro mode for autofocus, and 2 MP depth sensors to enhance portrait mode. Finally, there is a 32 MP front lens, which also records in 4K.

Motorola Moto G82 5G

In the G line, the novelty is the Moto G82 5G. This is slightly thinner and heavier than the more expensive “brother”, measuring 7.99 mm and 173 grams thick. On this device, the fingerprint reader is on the side, integrated with the power button.

Motorola has placed in its mediator a camera block similar to other models of the brand, with a background the same color as the skin. On the front, there was a chance to make a hole-in-the-hole indentation on the screen.

Screen, hardware and software

The Moto G82 comes with a 5G pOLED display. However, unlike the Edge, this model is 6.6 inches in size and has a 120 Hz refresh rate. At least there’s a stereo sound here, with two Dolby Atmos compatible speakers.

The main configurations have a Snapdragon 695 mobile platform, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, with the possibility of expanding up to 1 TB with a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with a 30W TurboPower charger.

Its operating system is also Android 12, with the My UX interface almost unchanged. The most notable of the software are famous gestures to control your device. However, there is no Ready For.


The G82’s camera set consists of three rear sensors, the main one of which has 50 MP and also has optical image stabilization, to reduce the blurriness of the videos, it is limited to Full HD at 60 fps.

In addition, there is an 8 MP hybrid lens, which serves as an ultra-wide and deep sensor for portrait use. Finally, there is the 2 MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16 MP front panel, with support for 30 fps video recordings in Full HD.

The Motorola Edge 30 comes in three color options: graphite, blue and pink, the Moto G82 5G will have two alternatives, black and white. Both mobile phones have been available in Brazil since this Tuesday (7).
