Jüri Vips seemed to be out of the 2nd race unscathed this Sunday (12) in Baku after holding on to the top spot firmly and escaping confusion throughout the race. But there, five minutes from the end, only the Hitech driver fell on the side of the Castle and dropped the victory on the return of Dennis Hauger, the Prema.
Still in the car, Vips accused him of a brake problem to justify the right step. With the accident, the 2nd race ended under the safety car.

Frederik Vesti finished seventh, followed by Marino Sato. Ralph Boschung and Jake Hughes closed out the top ten of the race.
As expected, Baku had a classic race with safety car intervention and the final within an hour. But Vips claimed the privilege of starting first and held on to the lead well, followed by other opponents.
Drugovich did not have a good start. The Brazilian also maintained his fifth place in the first lap, but soon lost his place after Verschoor’s aggressive attack, and only completed his first lap in the eighth. Meanwhile, in the backpack, he jumped from 12th to ninth in the main opponent of MP Théo Pourchaire in the title fight, and Fittipaldi appeared in 14th place, rising two places.
But it didn’t take long for the security car to show up in Baku, and the perpetrators were Amaury Cordeel and Olli Caldwell. At the restart, Vips remained steadfast in the lead, but made a hesitant defensive play, putting the car completely in line inside the pit entrance and then returning. However, he went on to lead the trial, despite some complaints.
