Cuiabá’s performance

Cuiabá took the field 4-3-3, with a strategy of strengthening the mark and trying to get out of counterattacks. Despite some organization, Dourado gave space to Fla, who was able to command the actions, especially in the first half.

Returning at the break, Dourado came back a little “fit”, giving the opponent little field and managing to steal the ball in the middle. In offensive construction, however, he still made mistakes. Slowly, however, António Oliveira’s team began to invest in developments and saw Rubro-Negro start to come into danger.

early goal

Flamengo opened the scoring in the first few minutes. In a game on the left wing, Ayrton Lucas had a light guard Bruno Henrique, reached the back line and ended up sending it directly into goal. Goalkeeper Walter, waiting for the cross, tried to come back, but to no avail.

Vitinho entered the vacancy, but people soon lost patience and began to criticize him.

the goal is ignored

Flamengo came to change the net, along with Gabigol, but shirt 9 was in an irregular position.

back different

Cuiabá came back “biting” and a little more to score and gave Flamengo a little bit of space, which was starting to find it difficult to create opportunities. The best chance was to build Everton Ribeiro with Matheuzinho, who crossed for Gabigol, but Marllon took the lead and cut.

Taken by Walter

After exchanging passes, Arrascaeta stormed the area and was blocked during submission. On the rebound, Everton Ribeiro took the first shot and tried to hit it, but Walter made the save.

in the dash
