Residents between the ages of 50 and 59 can now receive the 4th vaccine against COVID-19 in several cities in the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area. Following the release of the Ministry of Health last Thursday (02/6), the city council and the state began to organize themselves to call the new public.
Sabará and Nova Lima also began immunizing this public this Tuesday. Sabara’s hope is to vaccinate more than 17,000 people with the 4th dose, and Nova Lima has 11,220 people to be immunized in that age range.
Contagem and Ribeirão das Neves will start vaccinating the second vaccine for those over 50 on Wednesday (08/6). In Contagem, the vaccine will be given at specific positions, and health workers may also be vaccinated.
