Clube do Remo loses and Bonamigo is released in Baenão

The most important thing in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is to do the homework, which was not the case with Clube do Remo, as he lost and lost valuable points in the Estádio do Baenão. As a result, in addition to the fall of the Terceirona board, there is a crisis installed between the fans and coach Paulo Bonamigo.

Playing at home, Leão Azul won the match until the 45th minute, but took a turn and lost 2-1 against Altos-PI this Sunday (19) at the Evandro Almeida Stadium in Belem. The result was the resignation of the coach, the club’s president, Fábio Bentes, shortly after the end of the match.

SEE HOW THE GAME WAS

Remo showed his strength and headed towards Altos-PI with two attempts: the first with midfielder Anderson Uchoa, who frightened the goalkeeper, and the other with the ball, directed at the defense of goalkeeper Brenner.

Unsurprisingly, the 12th minute came back with a great goal from Leão: Fernandinho picks it up from Netto at the entrance of the area and shoots a beautiful shot into the drawer. Row from 1 to 0.

Shortly after scoring the goal, Leão was left without a injured Brenner and was replaced by Vanilson, who on a whim did not score another goal. The attacker picks it up inside the area and removes it from the goalkeeper and slowly ends up taking the ball out.

With no attack and a corner kick on defense, Altos-PI escaped from scoring the second goal in the 32nd minute with Netto, taking advantage of the goalkeeper’s doubts and shooting from a distance. The ball hit the post and went outside.

The second half began for Altos-PI with the entry of Dieguinho, who was terrified of the rematch in two bids: first with Elielton on the board and then left Manoel to hit Remo’s shot and crossbar.

Altos-PI scared Remo again for ten minutes. Dieguinho kicks hard and Vinicius is shocked. In the next play, Piauí’s team scored with Tibiri, but the referee ruled the goal out of play.

Without reacting on the attacking field, Remo was attacked by Altos-PI, who tried his best to equalize and scored in the 45th minute with a goal from Lucas Souza in the 45th minute. The worst came in the 49th minute, with a goal turn from Altos-PI introduced by Ramon.

The loss of the home side was considered the last pound for the fans and the management of Clube do Remo and the end of the match led to the decline of coach Paulo Bonamigo. See statement by Fábio Bentes.

The defeat leaves Remo with 16 points and threatened to leave the G8, while Altos-PI climbed the board with 12 points and escaped the Z4.

In the next round, Altos-PI will host Vitória-BA on Saturday (25), Teresina (PI) and Remo will face Figueirense-SC away from home on Monday (27).
